Ralph Bunche Director John Torpey contributed this essay, “Rethinking Mobility Under Duress,” for an online forum on Mobility Without Membership: Do We Need Special Passports for Vulnerable Groups? organized by Jelena Džankić and Rainer Bauböck of the European University Institute.  Džankić and Bauböck have now collected all the contributions into a working paper published by the Global Governance Programme of the EUI’s Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies.  The working paper is available here.
