UAP Working Group on UN Engagement
As part of the Ralph Bunche Institute’s new UAP and International Security Project, the UAP and UN Engagement Working Group seeks to advance a UN-backed UAP materials exchange program under Security Council auspices, to steward donated materials and facilitate the loan, study, and scientific exchange of externally-owned materials associated with credible UAP events.
The program draws precedent from UN Charter Chapter XII, which establishes the International Trusteeship System and allows for customized stewardship arrangements, as well as from the Outer Space Treaty, the Antarctic Treaty System, the UNESCO World Heritage Convention, and NASA’s Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) program, which provides a practical model for curating, preserving, and sharing rare extraterrestrial materials for scientific study.
