UAP Working Group on UN Engagement
As part of the Ralph Bunche Institute’s Project on UAP Studies and International Security, the UAP Working Group on UN Engagement seeks to advance an international framework for the disclosure and study of UAP materials. Proposals now under discussion include the establishment of a global public ledger for certified materials associated with credible UAP events and the creation of protocols for international scientific research.
The UAP Working Group proposals emphasize the importance of international cooperation in UAP Studies and seek multilateral frameworks to prepare humanity for social changes expected to take place in a post-disclosure world. We therefore seek partnerships with international scholars and researchers, state-affiliated programs, and UN agencies prepared to collaborate on this subject.
We draw precedent from multilateral agreements including the UNESCO’s World Heritage Convention and its Memory of the World Programme, the Outer Space Treaty, the Antarctic Treaty System, and NASA’s Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) program, which provides a practical model for curating, preserving, and sharing rare extraterrestrial materials for scientific study.
