The Path of Repair: Jewish Wisdom on Transforming Harm
Join us on Wednesday 18 November at 12:00 noon (ET) for a discussion about
In a world fractured by violence, inequality, and disconnection, The Path of Repair is an invitation to reclaim our moral imagination and participate in the ongoing work of transformation. Drawing on the teachings of the revered medieval Torah scholar Moses Maimonides, author Ari Lev Fornari offers a radical reinterpretation of teshuvah—commonly translated as “repentance”—as a lifelong journey of healing, accountability, and liberation. As Rabbi Fornari reveals, teshuvah is not a private spiritual exercise, but a public act of courage and connection.
Please join Rabbi Ari Lev Fornari (Senior Rabbi at Kol Tzedek Synagogue and founding member of the Jewish Voice for Peace Rabbinical Council and Rabbis for Ceasefire) in a wide-ranging conversation with Prof Raz Segal (Professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies; Endowed Professor in The Study of Modern Genocide, Stockton University) in a wide-ranging conversation. Together, they will explore the capacity to confront harm, cultivate forgiveness, and commit to lasting repair.
